Andreas
Andreas Schirm B.P.E., C.P. (c)

Andreas holds a B.P.E. Degree from McMaster University, as well as, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Methods in Prosthetics & Orthotics from George Brown College.

Andreas has been practicing in the field of prosthetics for over 25 years. He takes great pride in staying current with prosthetic technological advancements and supporting his clientele with honest personal care.

Justin Diamond B.A., MSc.

Justin attained a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, and a Masters degree at the University of Waterloo. Justin has also completed the Technical Program in Prosthetics and Orthotics, as well as the Clinicial Methods in Prosthetics & Orthotics Program at George Brown College.

Justin is a highly skilled & talented clinician that takes pride in creating devices that meet each client's unique needs and requirements for their lifestyle.

Frank
Xianjun (Frank) Tan M.Eng., C.P. (c)

Frank holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University, as well as, completing his Prosthetic and Orthotic Meister designation from BUFA in Dortmund, Germany.  Frank attained his Canadian prosthetic certification in 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in prosthetics. Frank is fluent in Mandarin, German and English.

Ben Coveny BSc.

Ben attained a BSc. in Kinesiology from Wilfred Laurier University.  Ben has been keenly mastering the technical aspects of prosthetic design and fabrication. 

Ben is intrigued by the combination of biomechanical aptitude and artistic design that the prosthetic profession offers.

ABOUT CERTIFIED PROSTHETISTS - CP(c)

A Certified Prosthetist CP(c) is a nationally recognized healthcare professional, who is trained in the design and manufacture of artificial limbs. They are a part of a rehabilitation team which can include Surgeons, Physicians as well as Physical and Occupational Therapists.

Subsequent to assessing the client's goals and physical abilities, the Prosthetist will design, fabricate and fit a prosthetic device to the client based on their needs and desires.

Our team of professionals are Canadian Board Certifees with Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC). We regularly attend courses and seminars to keep up to date with the ever changing technology being introduced into our profession.

ABOUT REGISTERED TECHNICIANS - RTP(c)

A Registered Prosthetic Technician assists the CP(c) by providing technical expertise, workmanship and design considerations throughout the fabrication of prosthetic devices. Their main focus is on tooling, machining, repairing, material knowledge and structural integrity of individual prosthetic devices.

Most Prosthetic Technicians have training in biomechanics and kinesiology as well as a background in artistry and craftsmanship. Their combined knowledge of design and human movement, allow Prosthetic Technicians to execute special considerations involved in fabricating prosthetic devices.
